Limited 12-Month Warranty

 

 

Effective Date: April 24, 2025

Applies to: All hardware and software products manufactured, sold and distributed by Sensor Bio, Inc., 605 West 9th Street #1142, Austin, TX 78701.

1. Warranty Coverage: Limited 12-Month (1-year) Warranty

Sensor Bio warrants that its products will be free from material defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment or customer delivery, whichever is later ("Warranty Period").

During the Warranty Period, Sensor Bio will, at its sole option:

• Repair the defective product using new or refurbished parts,
• Replace the defective product with a new or equivalent item, or
• Refund the original purchase price.

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser or authorized reseller and is non-transferable unless explicitly approved by Sensor Bio in writing.

2. Exclusions and Limitations

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, or negligence.
• Wear and tear from normal use.
• Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or third-party software/hardware integrations that directly contributed to the defect.
• Products sold as "as-is," "used," or "refurbished," unless expressly covered.

Damage resulting from use of Sensor Bio products outside their documented operating specifications is not covered under this warranty.

Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty. (UK Consumers: This limitation on consequential damages is limited to those that are not reasonably foreseeable.)

4. How to Initiate a Warranty Claim

To begin a return or claim, email support@sensorbio.com with:

• Original order number,
• Description of the issue,
• Supporting media (photos, videos, logs, if applicable).

If approved, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be issued. Items returned without an RMA may not be processed.

5. Sensor Bio's Rights and Disclaimers

Sensor Bio reserves the right to:

• Inspect returned products before processing any warranty or refund,
• Deny claims that do not comply with this policy,
• Modify this policy at any time without notice, with such changes applying prospectively only.

Any implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this limited warranty (one year from date of shipment or delivery).

UK Consumers: The above limitation on implied warranties does not apply to UK consumers. Nothing in this warranty affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively through arbitration in Travis County, Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

UK Consumers: This warranty shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Advice about your statutory rights is available from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. Nothing in this warranty affects your statutory rights or your right to bring a claim in court.
